The Peel P50, built in 1962 by the Peel Engineering Company in the Isle of Man, is officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the smallest car ever made. Measuring just 1.47 meters (4.8 feet) in length and weighing only 19 kilograms (42 pounds), this three-wheeled vehicle has a 0.049 horsepower engine and can reach a top speed of about 30 kilometers per hour (18.6 miles per hour). Only 50 Peel P50s were produced, making it a rare and quirky piece of automotive history.
